Committee process

If you have an application at a Committee of Adjustment hearing, you or a representative should attend the meeting. If you don't attend, the Committee may adjourn the hearing or consider the application without your input.

The Committee will make a decision by reviewing the application materials, a report from the planning department, written comments from other agencies and individuals and input from the public at the meeting. The Committee will make a decision based on all evidence presented.

Make an appeal

You may appeal a decision of the Committee of Adjustment to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT). Visit OLT for more information on how to make an appeal.
