Road closure update
Severn's Roads Team has been working 24/7 to remove debris and downed trees from local roadways. Roadways that remain closed are those that have downed powerlines and are awaiting Hydro One clearance. View the full list of road closures.

Potable water stations are available for residents who may continue to have no power and those who rely on wells.

Warming Centre now open in Washago
A Warming Centre is now open at the Washago Community Centre (4361 Hamilton Street). The Warming Centre will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily until further notice. Individuals and families looking for a warm space to charge their devices, access restrooms, or get a warm drink can drop by as needed. View the notice.
Ward Boundary Review Open Houses scheduled for April 2 and 3 CANCELLED
Due to impacts from the ice storm, the public open houses have been postponed. New dates will be announced. Learn more and take the survey at: severn.ca/wbr.
Reduced Load Restrictions
Effective March 8, reduced load restrictions (half loads) are in effect until May 30. Learn more about load restrictions.
Potable water stations are available for residents who may continue to have no power and those who rely on wells. Locations will include the Westshore Wastewater and Water Treatment Plant (3333 New Brailey Line) and the Coldwater Water Supply and Distribution System (14 Sheridan Drive).
Township of Severn has been working around the clock since Saturday to remove debris and downed trees from local roadways. Roadways that remain closed are those that have downed powerlines and are awaiting Hydro One clearance. Once Hydro One has cleared any powerlines and declared the area safe, Township staff will move in to clear the debris.
Township of Severn has opened a Warming Centre at the Washago Community Centre (4361 Hamilton Street). The Warming Centre will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily until further notice. Individuals and families looking for a warm space to charge their devices (priority for medical devices) or access restrooms can drop by as needed.
