Update January 16, 2025: The blue-green algae alert has been lifted for Tea Lake.

Township of Severn received this notification via email from J. Wallace, Program Coordinator, Safe Water, Environmental Health Department, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on January 16, 2025.

Notice of road closure for Lakeside Drive starting January 20

Notice of road closure

Lakeside Drive (Bramshott Avenue to Beach Club Boulevard) will be closed starting Monday, January 20 at 8:00 a.m. for sewer main improvements. The closure is scheduled to continue until Monday, February 3 at 4:00 p.m.

There will be no through access at Lakeside Drive and Bramshott Avenue. A detour will be in place via Lakeside Drive through Beach Club Boulevard to Turnbull Drive.
