Help keep Severn green and growing

In celebration of Earth Month, the Township of Severn is again taking part in Pitch-In Week in April, Canada's largest environmental improvement campaign. Pitch-In Week is a great opportunity for residents, students, or community groups to get together and clean up our community. 

In the past two years, over 600 volunteers have filled more than 130 yellow Pitch-in bags, removing over 100 pounds of litter from our local roads, trails, and waterways. Get involved in Pitch-in Week happening April 21 to 27 by signing up individually, with your household, family, school, or community group. 

To register:

• complete the form at severn.ca/pitchin

• pick up your Pitch-in supplies (gloves and yellow bags) at our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn) Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

• help us find your Pitch-in waste bags for collection by placing them safely on roadsides for pickup on Monday, April 28

Please note that only yellow Pitch-in bags provided by the Township will be picked up.
