Notice of complete application: Public meeting scheduled for March 19
Township of Severn will be holding a hybrid Public Meeting on March 19, 2025, during the Planning and Development Committee meeting scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at Severn's Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane) to consider the following Zoning By-law Amendment application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
Details of the application
The Planning and Development Committee will consider the complete application for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to change Township Zoning By-law 2010-65, as amended, to:
- rezone the provisionally approved severed lands of Consent Application B-11-24 for Lot Boundary Adjustment, from the Recreational Commercial (C9) Zone to a site-specific Greenlands (GL-XX) Zone, with the following special provisions:
- Notwithstand Section 3.18 Multiple Zones on One Lot with respect to minimum Zone requirements for Lot Area and Frontage*
*Added by Township staff for clarity
All other provisions of the Greenlands (GL) Zone shall apply and be complied with.

All are welcome to attend the meeting or to provide verbal or written comments. All comments will form part of the public record including all verbal submissions made during the Public Meeting.
Options for public participation in the March 19 meeting include:
- in-person attendance at the Township's Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn)
- submitting written comments to the Planning department by email or regular mail
- contacting the Planning department by email or by phone at 705-325-2315 x246 to register in advance for the Zoom meeting for active verbal participation
- watching or streaming the meeting on our Council portal or our YouTube channel
