Partnership with Georgian Bay offers Severn residents free parking pass for Port Severn Park

Through a partnership agreement with the Township of Georgian Bay, a limited number of free parking passes for Port Severn Park and Beach (17 Port Severn Road North) will be available for Severn residents. The Port Severn community is shared between Severn and Georgian Bay, and for many Severn residents, Port Severn Park and Beach is the closest park for leisure activities and for children to play. 

Port Severn Park and Beach includes:

• public beach
• splash pad
• playground
• pavilion
• picnic area
• docks
• washrooms.

Severn residents can get their free parking pass starting March 27 by visiting the Township of Georgian Bay Municipal Office. Proof of residency/tenancy in Severn is required (e.g., tax bill, driver's licence, rental agreement). Each parking pass is valid for two licence plate numbers within the same residence.

Parking passes must be clearly displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle when visiting the park.Those without a parking permit will be ticketed and/or towed.

For questions about the free parking pass, please contact the Township of Georgian Bay directly. Passes can only be applied for at the Township of Georgian Bay Municipal Office located at 99 Lone Pine Road, Port Severn.

Passes are not available at the Township of Severn's Administration Office or facilities.
