Commissioning of Oaths

The Clerk provides Commissioner of Oaths services for the Township of Severn. We provide this service for all municipal documents as well as various other documents such as:

• travel letters
• medical affidavits
• vehicle and boat transfer forms
• pension forms

We will not draft affidavits or documents, you must have the forms with you.

Hours of operation

This service is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Administration Office located at 1024 Hurlwood Lane in Severn. We recommend that you contact us before you visit to make sure the Commissioner of Oaths is available.

Fees

It costs $25 plus HST to access these services.

What should I bring?

Please make sure you have all necessary documents (unsigned) as well as a piece of photo identification, such as a valid driver's licence or passport.
