Township of Severn follows the regulations set out in the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. We're committed to protecting all personal information.

Freedom of Information and Routine Disclosure Policy

Our Freedom of Information and Routine Disclosure Policy outlines what types of information are readily available as well as the procedures we take to protect your personal information.

Freedom of Information requests

Complete the Freedom of Information Request and submit it to the Clerk by email to access certain municipal records. Please note that certain records, such as building and fill permit information, are available without a formal request.

All by-law enforcement complaints are confidential and will not be released.

Fees

It costs $5 for a Freedom of Information request. Additional fees will apply once your request has been processed for search time, preparation time and photocopy fees.

When collecting personal information, we reference what gives us the authority to collect that information and we inform individuals about the personal information required.
