WHEREAS the Township of Severn recognizes the importance of Emergency Management in our community and across Canada; and
WHEREAS the goal of Emergency Preparedness Week is to raise community awareness and the need to prepare for the possibility of an emergency; and
WHEREAS the safety of our community is the responsibility of each one of us and we must prepare now and learn how to secure a strong and healthy tomorrow.

About this project
Township of Severn is undertaking asphalt resurfacing and culvert replacements beginning May 6, 2024 in the areas of:
- Telford Line (from Centre Avenue to Stockdale Road)
- Telford Line/Soules Road overpass
- New Brailey Line (from Stockdale Road to Cambrian Line)
- Cox Drive and Huffman Road
The work is expected to be complete by Fall 2024.

Popular compost and mulch sale returns for 2024
Between May 6 and May 25 the County of Simcoe is again offering its popular compost and mulch sale at all County waste facilities.
Severn residents can purchase compost for use in gardens to add nutrients, or as top dressing for lawns to help retain moisture. About this project
Township of Severn is undertaking asphalt resurfacing and culvert replacements in the area of Brodie Drive and Carlyon Line starting May 6, 2024. This project was awarded to Georgian Paving, a division of Miller Paving Limited. The work is anticipated to be completed by Fall 2024.
