Township of Severn provides a range of fire and emergency services to protect life, property and the environment. We do this through education, prevention, investigation, training, rescue, fire suppression and basic life support services.
Fire prevention and education
Invite us to your next event
We attend a variety of community events, such as parades, community barbecues, school open houses and fall fairs. Meet our firefighters and mascot Sparky at your next event!
Please submit the form at least four weeks before your event.
Stay informed
We communicate life-saving safety and prevention information through local newspapers, radio interviews and media releases. Follow our newsfeed to stay informed.
Tax rebate
If your home or structure is damaged in a fire, you may be eligible for a tax rebate. Learn more about the rebate and see if you quality.

There are four fire stations serving our community in Severn:
- Fire Station 1 located at 3216 South Sparrow Lake Road
- Fire Station 2 located at 3958 Burnside Line
- Fire Station 3 located at 1 Firehall Lane
- Fire Station 4 located at 2060 North River Drive
