Update: This notice was lifted on March 12, 2024 as a result of updated testing by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that did not detect blue-green algae. October 2023: Blue-green algae bloom confirmed on the north-east shoreline of Tea Lake

As a result of an unexpected power issue affecting the Coldwater Community Centre (11 Michael Anne Drive), free public skating scheduled for this afternoon at 1:00 p.m. has been canceled.
Public skating for tomorrow (Wednesday, March 13) has been rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. to 3:20 p.m.

Public skating schedule
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and organizations, public skating at the Coldwater Community Centre (11 Michael Anne Drive) is free of charge for the month of March.
Sunday free skates run from 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m., and March Break free skates are scheduled daily from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 from 1:00 p.m. 2:20 p.m.

Notice of road closure
Lakeside Drive (approximately 25 metres north of Beckett Place to south of Park Road) will be closed on Wednesday, March 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for sewer connection.
There will be no through access at 2893 Lakeside Drive.
