June tax bills issued by regular mail to all properties in transition to new E-Services portal

All property owners to receive tax bills by regular mail

Township of Severn has launched our new E-Services portal that will allow our community to access tax bills and water and sewer billings online in one secure account. 

Service for our previous e-billing site (E-Commerce) has been discontinued.

Notice of Canada Day office and facilities closure

Our Administration Office and facilities will be closed on Monday, July 1 for Canada Day. We will reopen Tuesday, July 2 at 8:30 a.m.

Notice of road work: New Brailey Line

About this project

Township of Severn is undertaking asphalt resurfacing starting the week on June 24 on New Brailey Line (from Stockdale Road to Cambrian Line). 

The work is expected to be complete within one week (approximately July 3, 2024).

Impacts to road users and residents

To complete the asphalt resurfacing daytime single-lane restrictions will be in place as required. These will be managed using signage and flag persons. At the end of each workday, the road will reopen as two lanes.

Notice of herbicide use for Giant hogweed control on the Uhthoff Trail

Details of control measures

Township of Severn will be undertaking the application of herbicide to occurrences of Giant hogweed located along the Uhthoff Trail, primarily in the areas of Division Road and Carlyon Line, and Uhthoff Line and Foxmead Road. Signage will be placed in the areas of the trail that have been treated.
