Status of our new Official Plan

Township of Severn Council originally adopted a new Official Plan on November 14, 2022. The adopted Official Plan was sent to the County of Simcoe as the approval authority. The County of Simcoe has since provided comments and proposed modifications for Township review. In addition, the Province has unveiled some changes to planning legislation and policies that will directly impact the Official Plan.

Notice of road closure (revised)

Wainman Line (Foxmead Road to Mount Stephen Road) will be closed on Thursday, May 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for cross culvert replacement. 

Local traffic is permitted but there will be no through access on Wainman Line approximately 0.15 kilometres south of Mount Stephen Road.
