Mayor and Council offer letters of congratulations to businesses in our community that are celebrating notable milestones such as a grand opening or significant anniversary. To request a certificate please visit our Mayor's Office page.
Request the attendance of a Township official
If you would like the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, members of Council, or Township staff to attend your event or celebration, you will need to complete the Celebrate a Business Milestone Request form.
Celebrate a Business Milestone Request
We require at least two weeks' notice to coordinate the attendance of a Township representative at your business event. Home-based businesses are invited to participate as we host quarterly business celebration events at our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn).
Required information
The following information is required for requests:
- description of the event being celebrated (business opening, anniversary, etc.)
- name and address of business
- name of owner/operator of business
- services offered by the business
- date of the celebration
Other information may also be needed to consider your request. After you submit the form our Economic Development Officer will follow-up to confirm the details of your event.
