About this project
Township of Severn will be resurfacing the bridge deck of the Lovering Line Bridge and requiring a full closure of the Lovering Line Bridge on Lovering Line (approximately 120 metres south of Upper Big Chute Road).
Construction is anticipated to start on or around August 19, 2024 and is to be completed within three weeks. Work performed on this project is weather dependent and completion may be slightly earlier or later.
This work will include:

removal of the existing surface

preparation of the existing bridge deck and placement of a new riding surface
Impacts to road users and residents
A full closure of the bridge will be needed to complete this work. Residents south of the Lovering Line Bridge will only have access to Upper Big Chute Road via Laughlin Falls Road. Detour signage will be in place for the duration of the project.
