Skating and day camp at the Coldwater Community Centre this March Break
Public skating schedule
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and organizations, public skating at the Coldwater Community Centre (11 Michael Anne Drive) is free of charge for the month of March.
Sunday free skates run from 12:30 p.m. to 1:50 p.m., and March Break free skates are scheduled daily from Monday, March 11 to Friday, March 15 from 1:00 p.m. 2:20 p.m.
Sponsors for March public skating includes Stanton Excavating and Backhoe Service (last weeks' March 3 skate), North Simcoe Tree Service (March 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 24), Jill Dunlop, MPP for Simcoe North (March 13), and K.J. Excavating (March 17).
Morning drop-in programs canceled during March Break
Moms, Pops, and Tots, and seniors and adult shinny hockey has been canceled to allow for youth hockey camps over the March Break. Thursday's Homeschool Skate at 12:00 p.m. will continue as scheduled. You can view full schedules and guidelines on our Skating page. The full drop in schedule will resume Tuesday, March 17.
The last week of the 2023 to 2024 ice season is March 25 to the 31.

Other programming: Explore IT day camp on March 15
Looking for something for the kids to do on Friday, March 15? Join well-known Jump Fitness instructor Kelsi Graves for a one-day only March Break Explore IT camp. Registrants will participate in a wide variety of fun-filled movement and activity that combines fitness, art, science, and outdoor exploration. Campers will receive an Explore It camp swag bag, crafting and art supplies, a LEGO creation kit, and more. Participants will depart from the day with fun memories and new friendships.

Prerequisites
Campers must be 6 years old on the first day of camp and no older than 9 years old on the first day of camp.
How to register
The cost for the one-day camp is $55.00.
Online, phone, and email registration is not available at this time.
Please download the registration form below or from our recreation portal. You can also drop by our Administration Office (1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn) and pick-up a printed form.
Once completed, you can submit your form and payment in the following ways:
- in-person at our Administration Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (cash, cheque, or debit)
- after-hours in our drop box located at the front door of our Administration Office (exact cash or cheque)
Other important information
Camp time is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Parents/guardians must sign each camper in and out for the day. Please bring personal sunscreen and a hat. There is no before care or after care.
