Volunteer firefighter recruitment information sessions to be held in December
Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter with the Township of Severn?
A strong team of Volunteer Firefighters help their community when help is needed the most. As a Volunteer Firefighter with Severn, you will enjoy a sense of accomplishment, achievement, and pride in your service. You will learn new skills, meet new friends, be a part of a team, give back to the community, and make a real difference.
Severn Fire and Emergency Services has four active fire stations.
The locations of the stations are:
- Fire Station 1 at 3216 South Sparrow Lake Road
- Fire Station 2 at 3958 Burnside Line
- Fire Station 3 at 1 Firehall Lane
- Fire Station 4 at 2060 North River Drive
Recruitment Information sessions
These in-person information sessions will provide individuals who have an interest in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter with details about the recruitment process and the skills needed to succeed. Although attendance is not required to apply, it is strongly encouraged to attend one of the two sessions so that applicants can gain a full understanding and appreciation of the level of commitment required by all firefighting staff.
Dates:
- Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Administration Office, 1024 Hurlwood Lane, Severn
