Park Discovery contest

It's the final week of our Park Discovery Contest to celebrate June is Parks and Recreation Month in Severn. This week is the last chance to participate in this outdoor scavenger hunt that features four parks across our community.

How to play

Each week since June 6, we’ve been revealing photos that gradually uncover more of a park’s surroundings along with a riddle. Your mission is to crack the clues, identify the park, and scan the QR code hidden within the park. After completing a simple form, you'll be entered in to win one of three outdoor-themed prizes valued at approximately $100 each.

If you haven't yet scanned the codes for Weeks 1, 2, 3, and 4, you can view the previous clues on our June is Parks and Recreation Month page or on our Facebook, X, or Instagram channels and visit the parks after you have figured out where it is. Every week you participate gets you another entry to win.

Prizes

The contest spans four weeks and features one park per week, and three clues per park. Crack the clues, find the park, and scan the QR code within the weekly featured park to enter for a chance to win 1 of 3 prizes:
  • Woods Director's folding camp chairs (2)
  • picnic backpack for four
  • cornhole and ladder ball lawn game set

Photo Gallery: Park Discovery contest will appear here on the public site.

View the contest rules on our JRPM page. Prizes may not be exactly as shown.

The contest closes this Sunday, June 30 at 11:55 p.m.
