Notice of road work on Hodgins Road

About the project

Township of Severn will be resurfacing Hodgins Road (from Quarry Road to Port Severn Road). Construction is anticipated to start on or around July 23, 2024 and is to be completed over the course of approximately one week.

This work will include:

• placement of small sections of asphalt prior to surface treatment
• application of surface treatment to extend the lifespan of the riding surface

Road access and service impacts

To complete the resurfacing, daytime single lane closures will be in place as required. These will be managed using signage and flag persons. Temporary obstruction of access to driveways may be required at times while the surface treatment solidifies. Waste, recycling, and organics collection for all residents and businesses will not be affected and will continue to be provided by the County of Simcoe.
