Township of Severn and the Severn Sound Environmental Association (SSEA) are working together to provide property owners with low priced, native tree and shrub seedlings for planting in spring 2025.
The deadline for orders is Friday, January 17, 2025.
Trees provide many benefits and continue to do so year after year.
Benefits include:
- absorbing carbon and air pollutants
- buffering noise (traffic, construction, etc.)
- capturing storm water and protecting the quality of our waterways
- energy conservation by providing shade and acting as a windbreak
- improved natural beauty
